Directions to Old Sleningford Farm
From Ripon:
Follow the brown tourist signs for Lightwater Valley. Pass Lightwater Valley, go through North Stainley. On the other side of the village, take the second left signed to Mickley*
From West Tanfield (from the North):
Head towards Ripon. Pass Sleningford Mill on the left. In about .5 of a mile, turn right signed to Mickley*
*For both routes:
Go down this road for 1 mile until you get to a stone wall on your right. Ignore the first turning in the wall, continue down the hill, turn right at the end of the wall on to the track with the Old Sleningford Farm sign on it.
Note - if you use GPS, it will take you 15 miles further than you need! Old Sleningford is marked on Ordanance Survey Maps and is in the middle of the triangle made up of the villages of North Stainley, West Tanfield and Mickley.
