Spring is in the air, the bees are flying, lambs and chicks are being born, seedlings are sprouting - isn't it great to be alive!
The equipment purchased with our grant from the Neighbourhood Learning in Deprived Communities (NLDC) Fund is slowly arriving. For the next workday (Sunday 4th May) we should have new spades, forks, wheelbarrows, wellies - in fact loads of stuff which will mean liads more people can get involved with what we're doing here.
Over the coming months, we will be starting our buildings project - to build a safe store shed for our tools using limecrete and wood, and a cob hut and composting toilet in the Forest Garden. This has been made possible by the NLDC grant, from the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) administered by the North Yorkshire Learning Consortium (NYLC).
Please let us know if you'd like to be involved.
